On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that Architect <br />Richard Moorhead be authorized to proceed with the Courthouse entry <br />plaza as outlined above at a proposed cost of $36,000, or less due <br />to reduced labor costs through the use of volunteers from the labor <br />organizations. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Wieland suggested setting a dedication around November llth, <br />Veteran's Day; and he suggested that the type of lighting be selected <br />by the committee for the project. <br />County Auditor Ordelle Brua requested permission for division <br />of voting precincts, namely splitting Fargo Township and Reed Township <br />from the Fargo Precinct No. 27. Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton <br />seconded that Fargo Precinct No. 27 be divided into two voting <br />precincts, one for the rural area to vote at the Police Training Center, <br />and the other being the City of Fargo Precinct No. 27 to continue <br />voting at the McKinley School. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Upon the request of the County Auditor, Mr. Larson moved and <br />Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Auditor be authorized to pay off the <br />special assessments on the former Detention Center at 57 -11th Avenue <br />North, Fargo, in the amount of $2,324.00. However, the motion and <br />second were withdrawn after questions were raised on the agreement <br />which the County has with the Head Start Program for the use of the <br />building. <br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting <br />was adjourned <br />
