Mr. Larson moved and Mrs Stanton seconded to set a public hearing <br />for August 4, 1987 at 10:00 A.M. in the Cass County Commission Room <br />at the Courthouse on the application for MIDA Bonds for St. John's <br />Hospital in the amount of 7 million dollars. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the County follow <br />the MIDA Bond fee schedule as adopted by the City of Fargo, and that <br />an application fee of $1,000 be included as adopted by the City of <br />Fargo for the St. John's Hospital MIDA Bond application. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Correspondence was received from the North Dakota Department <br />of Human Services regarding a change in the incentive formula for <br />collections made by the Regional Child Support Enforcement Units, <br />which will decrease payments to counties. <br />Notice was received that the State Health Department will be <br />considering a Vector Control District to include all of Cass County <br />at their July 21st meeting to be held in the State Capitol. <br />A letter was received from States Attorney Robert Hoy requesting <br />a meeting between legal counsel and the Commissioners on July 30, <br />1987, regarding tax abatement litigation by Cargill, Inc. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the following <br />Officer's Reports for June be received and filed: Motion carried. <br />Clerk of Court 7,170.14 <br />County Court $35,732.10 <br />Register of Deeds $18,795.00 <br />Sheriff 8,860.46 <br />Veterans Service Office <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Larson seconded to appoint Sheriff <br />Don Rudnick as Cass County's official representative on a <br />Bi- Centennial Committee. Motion carried. <br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br />
