motion carried unanimously. <br />Regarding a request by Stanley Township for township bridge <br />replacement between Sections 23 -24, Don Richards suggested a meeting <br />between the township, the County Commission and any other interested <br />persons. The Chairman suggested placing this matter on the Commission <br />agenda next Tuesday at 10:30 A.M., and he requested Don Richards to <br />notify the Stanley Township Board and Township resident Tony Rutten. <br />Mr. Richards stated that States Attorney Robert Hoy is presently <br />investigating the County's responsibility on township roads and <br />bridges. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve a utility <br />permit for Mark Kasowski for an irrigation pipe under County Road <br />17 south of West Fargo. Motion carried. <br />Upon the request of the Cass County Planning Commission through <br />its Chairman, Fred Selberg, Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded <br />to grant approval for County Planner Jerry McCullough to work part -time <br />during the month of December. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Brian Shorten, Executive Director of the Fargo- Moorhead <br />Metropolitan Council of Governments appeared before the Board for <br />input on their activities and programs over the next 2 -3 years. The <br />Commission indicated that the County's concerns will be conveyed <br />through the County Planning Commission and through the County's <br />representation on the Metropolitan Council. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and file <br />the following Officer's Reports for October: Motion carried. <br />Clerk of Court 5,915.00 <br />County Court $32,175.70 <br />Register of Deeds $18,573.60 <br />Sheriff 9,702.24 <br />Veterans Service Office <br />The Chairman declared a recess for a meeting of the Cass County <br />Building Authority and upon reconvening, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. <br />Larson seconded to approve the agreement between the Building <br />Authority and Dakota Food Equipment, Inc. for food service equipment <br />in the Courthouse South Wing, subject to approval of the States <br />Attorney. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to approve Building <br />Authority action on approval of Change Orders G -5, G -6, G -7, M -2, <br />E -3 and E -4 on the South Wing construction. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to approve Building <br />Authority Action for installation of a guard rail around the <br />transformer in the alley between the Jail and Courthouse for safety <br />purposes at a cost of $1,702.00.
