Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the contract with Jensen Brothers Construction, Inc. of Wheatland on the County Road 6 project in the amount of $204,716.39. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. The following bids were received for re- roofing the Juvenile Justice Center: A R Roofing Dalsin Roofing United Roofing $43,500.00 $51,500.00 $46,370.00 Upon the recommendation of Architect, Iry Holman, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to accept the bid of A R Roofing in the amount of $43,500.00 for re- roofing the Juvenile Justice Center, to be paid from the County Emergency Fund. The motion carried on roll call vote with four members voting "Aye Mr. Sondrall opposing. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to receive and file the following Officer's Reports for July 1986: Motion carried unanimously. Clerk of Court 7,490.75 County Court $31,434.20 Register of Deeds $17,654.10 Sheriff $11,621.29 Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file the Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for The Bike Shop, and authorize the Auditor to issue a duplicate check in the amount of $654.23. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Correspondence was received from Roger E. Schwinghammer requesting the release of $1,050.00 of the funds remaining in the South Acres water and sewer project to pay for the cost of a new underground hoist to eliminate the present unsightly model. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the matter be referred to the States Attorney, to the project engineer and to the project attorney for a recommendation and written authorization. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting was adjourned.
