for partial payment #8 in the amount of $5,506.20; and to approve <br />the following payments to T. F. Powers for partial payment #6 in the <br />amount of $16,308.00; and to West Fargo Plumbing Heating for partial <br />payment #9 in the amount of $1,467.76; and to Dakota Electric for <br />partial payment #9 in the amount of $2,834.00. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br />The remaining funds in the amount of $400.00 from the Robert <br />Reed Restoration Fund will be used for a plaque to be placed near <br />the rotunda. If anything remains after this, the amount will be <br />divided in half for each of the Reeds. <br />Upon the recommendation of Mr. Scott Krueger, Administrative <br />Assistant, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to accept the <br />books from Cass County District Court. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to sell the books <br />to Lane E. Leipold of Chanhassen, Minnesota, in the amount of $8,129.00 <br />subject to the approval of the States Attorney. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to authorize the <br />Chairman to enter into an agreement with the Westlaw Electronic Library <br />Services for a library terminal in the amount of $2,987.50; and at <br />an hourly rate in the amount of $115.00 per hour for the use of Westlaw <br />Terminal to be paid out of Reimbursed Federal and State Funds. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Upon the request of Sheriff Don Rudnick, Mr. Larson moved and <br />Mr. Sondrall seconded to authorize the replacement of staff at the <br />Juvenile Detention Center at a minimum wage. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Sheriff Rudnick made a request for his part -time employees who <br />work full -time hours after a period of six months receiving $5.00 <br />per hour at the Cass County Jail and $4.00 per hour at the Juvenile <br />Detention Center. He will bring a written request stating how he <br />will fit them into his budget as a position, but with higher pay. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to authorize the <br />Chairman to sign a letter to send to the State on the review and approval <br />of the Cass County Jail and Detention Center Policy Manuals dated <br />July 15, 1986. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Following further consideration on the Long -range Data <br />Processing, Bonnie Johnson, Child Support, represented the department <br />heads and elected officials urging an accelerated rate of <br />implementation so the citizens of Cass County might have a more <br />efficient government. <br />
