environmental systems maintenance as awarded on January 7, 1986. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to re- advertise the <br />Cass County Annex building for sale by sealed bids with a 5°s deposit <br />being required, bids to be opened at 10:00 A.M. on July 15, 1986. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Odell Braaten from Capitol American Insurance Agency <br />requested permission to contact County employees regarding a canceraid <br />plan. Mrs. Stanton referred to the Personnel Policy Manual concerning <br />solicitations and payroll deduction requirements. Mr. Wieland <br />informed him that if enough employees are interested in attending <br />a meeting before or after the regular office hours, the County could <br />provide space to hold the meeting. <br />Attorney Don Holand of Fargo informed the County Commission that <br />two of his clients, Clarence R. Reed and Florence Reed Owens are <br />interested in underwriting the cost of the Courthouse artwork <br />restoration in memory of their father, Robert Reed, who was the first <br />graduate of the North Dakota State Agriculture College in about 1895. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the County gracefully <br />accept the offer of Clarence Reed and Florence Reed Owens for a payment <br />of the artwork restoration in the Courthouse dome area and that an <br />appropriate plaque be displayed near the rotunda area at the time <br />of the completion. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to receive and file <br />the following Officer's Reports for May, 1986: Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Clerk of Court 5,870.00 <br />County Court $37,500.68 <br />Register of Deeds $18,786.20 <br />Sheriff 8,899.46 <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and file <br />the letter from the Cass County Weed Control Board regarding their <br />meeting with Mr. Calvin Kellerman on June 3, 1986. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the letter from <br />Glenn Ellingsberg regarding nuclear and natural disaster plans be <br />forwarded to Richard Offutt, Data Processing Manager, for his comments <br />and recommendation. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Correspondence was received from the State Health Department <br />regarding a hearing to be held on June 18, 1986, on a permit for F -M <br />Asphalt, Inc. to operate a hot mix asphalt facility in Fargo. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Chairman <br />be authorized to sign the RESOLUTION FOR SALE OF ANNEX BUILDING dated <br />June 10, 1986. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
