unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr Larson seconded that the County Auditor <br />be authorized to make the following payments from the Extra Ordinary <br />Outlay fund for the Courthouse remodeling project: Partial payment <br />#4 to T.F. Powers Construction Company in the amount of $35,910.00; <br />Partial payment #7 to West Fargo Plumbing and Heating in the amount <br />of $49,412.00; and Partial payment #6 to Dakota Electric Construction <br />in the amount of $11,671.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Commission <br />accept the proposal for vinyl wall covering for the third floor <br />Courthouse remodeling in the areas designated by the Administrative <br />Assistant at an additional cost of $2,765.00. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br />The Chairman reported that he granted verbal approval for the <br />Veterans Service Officer and his Deputy to attend a conference in <br />Moorhead last week. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to <br />approve out of state travel for John Meyer and Elizabeth Fischer to <br />attend a Service Officers Training Conference in Moorhead April 23rd <br />and 24th. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />The Chairman read a letter from Mr. Lee Sprague expressing an <br />interest in the position as Cass County Surveyor in the event that <br />the present surveyor, Frank Richards, discontinues the position. <br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br />
