REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />APRIL 15, 1986 <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order and upon roll <br />call, all members were present. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of <br />the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman <br />be authorized to sign the County Deeds to the City of Horace for the <br />sale of Lots 1, 2, 3 and the W 1/2 of Lot 6 in Peterson's Subdivision, <br />City of Horace, for $1.00 per lot; and to cancel the five -year <br />delinquent taxes in the amount of $330.08. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to authorize the <br />Chairman to sign the County Deeds to Ron Hazer for the sale of <br />Lots 3, 6 and 21, Block 10 and Lot 12, Block 11, Meadow Brook Park <br />Subdivision, Mapleton Township; and to cancel the 1985 taxes in the <br />amount of $23.92. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that $281.25 be paid <br />from the County Contingency Fund and placed together with the money <br />that the Regional Child Support Enforcement Director has in her budget <br />to complete a transaction with Vincent Price for computer programming; <br />and that Mr. Price sign an agreement prepared by the States Attorney's <br />Office acknowledging that he has been paid in full for his services. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to grant approval <br />of the Application for a County Beer License to Walker Investments, <br />Inc. d /b /a Bison Trap and Skeet Range located in Warren Township for <br />the remainder of 1986. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />The following bids were received for artwork restoration in the <br />Courthouse dome area: <br />Dean B. Bowman $9,270.00 <br />Philip J. Thompson $8,000.00 <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Chairman <br />appoint two people to review the above bids with the Architect, and <br />to report back at the next meeting for final approval Motion carried. <br />The Chairman and Mrs. Stanton will meet with the Architect. <br />Mr. Sondrall reported on a meeting held April 10th to organize <br />a Cass County Centennial Committee to plan for the 1989 North Dakota <br />Centennial celebration. Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Larson seconded <br />to appoint Dr. H.A. Ohrt, John D. Paulson, Carin Noriega, Allen J. <br />Petersen, George Griffeth, Adeline Hartl and Oscar Sondrall as the <br />"Cass County Centennial Committee Motion carried. Each of the <br />
