Correspondence was received from the Loss Control Manager of <br />the Home Insurance Company indicating that all roads in Bonanzaville, <br />U.S.A. should be snowplowed to allow entry of fire department and <br />emergency equipment, if necessary. The Chairman asked Mr. Eckert <br />to discuss the snow removal with Bonanzaville. <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve an <br />additional amount of $254.71 for a total of $1,554.71 to Champion <br />Auto Stores for repairing the motor on the Maintenance Department <br />pick -up. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to receive and file <br />the letters from Senators Herschel Lashkowitz and David Nething and <br />from Representatives John Dorso and Earl Strinden regarding the State <br />Fire and Tornado Fund. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Glenn Ellingsberg <br />be authorized to proceed with the installation of a partition wall <br />in the basement of the Juvenile Justice Center at a cost up to <br />$3,700.00, to be paid from the Buildings and Grounds budget. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve the <br />purchase of two executive style chairs at a cost of $250 -$300 each <br />for the Administrative Assistant and the Data Processing Manager, <br />subject to inquiring at the Lake Agassiz Regional Council on possible <br />surplus chairs. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence from the North Dakota State Highway Department, dated <br />December 22, 1985, regarding a signalized pedestrian crossing on Tenth <br />Street South near the Courthouse. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs Stanton seconded to approve the proposal <br />for Architect's Project $8327 from T. F. Powers Construction for <br />concrete work in the northwest basement area of the original Courthouse <br />in the amount of $1,092.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve partial <br />payment No. 4 in the amount of $12,445.00 to West Fargo Plumbing <br />Heating, Inc. and to approve partial payment No. 3 in the amount of <br />$4,987.00 to Dakota Electric Construction Company for the Courthouse <br />remodeling project. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve partial <br />payment No. 2 in the amount of $46,170.00 and partial payment No. <br />3 in the amount of $24,795.00 to the T. F. Powers Construction Company; <br />to approve partial payment No. 3 in the amount of $16,340.00 and partial <br />payment No. 4 in the amount of $17,195.00 to West Fargo Plumbing <br />Heating; to approve partial payment No. 2 in the amount of $28,755.00 <br />and partial payment No. 3 in the amount of $64,132.20 to Dakota Electric <br />Construction; and to approve payment of $400.00 to Gaffaney's for <br />
