Feder, <br />representing the Cass County Bar Association, and from Attorney <br />William Kirschner expressing their opinions that it would be a mistake <br />in Cass County to replace Court Reporters with recording equipment. <br />Mr. Wieland requested that Scott Krueger, Administrative Assistant, <br />contact the County Court Judges to allow a one -hour demonstration <br />of two types of court reporting equipment during a trial. <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the <br />guidelines presented by Mr. Iry Rustad for the 1986 Cass County Housing <br />Rehabilitation Program; and that the Lake Agassiz Regional Council <br />be authorized to publish the eligibility requirements and establish <br />a deadline for submitting applications. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the County <br />Auditor be authorized to pay the bill of $121.85 to the American <br />National Bank of Minneapolis on the Holmen's Subdivision street <br />improvement project. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton stated that there have been parking violations on <br />the north side of the north parking lot which has been designated <br />for two -hour public parking. In checking the license numbers of the <br />vehicles parked in this area on this date, all 13 of the vehicles <br />are driven by employees, department heads and elected officials. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Commissioner Wieland <br />draft a letter to the people who are parked contrary to the County's <br />rules on the north side of the north parking lot informing them that <br />if this practice does not cease, the County is considering a policy <br />of towing away the vehicles at the cost of the owners. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
