Counties State Delegate Council. <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the Cass County <br />Commission send a letter of commendation to Gene McLean, County <br />Sheriff's employee, for his knowledge and quick action in relationship <br />to the Brian Murphy accident at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds on <br />the date of July 10, 1985. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the County Road <br />Superintendent be authorized to pave the full road width from curb <br />to curb through the town of Erie while doing the blacktopping project <br />from Erie north to County Road 26, and to make arrangements with the <br />Erie Township Board for reimbursement of this additional cost of <br />$13,000.00, this to be repaid in a matter of five years. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and file <br />the July 8, 1985, correspondence from the State Historical Society <br />regarding the North Dakota State University Campus being considered <br />by the State Review Board for nomination to the National Register <br />of Historic Places. Motion carried. <br />The Commissioners signed a letter to the North Dakota <br />congressional delegation to Governor George Sinner, Lt. Governor Ruth <br />Meier and to Ron Soderberg of the North Dakota Office of Management <br />and Budget regarding housing repair funds under the Community <br />Development Block Grant program. <br />On motion by Mrs. Stanton and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting <br />was adjourned <br />
