the Veterans Service Office from the Cass County Annex to the Courthouse at an estimated cost of $138.00 from the County Contingency Fund. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize Johnson Controls to do the work necessary to extend the lines for air conditioning the Superintendent of Schools Office and the Jury Room on third floor at a cost of $2,150.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to attempt to resolve the noise level problem of the Courthouse air conditioning units by installing styrofoam on the brick wall and on the barrier wall, and to investigate the possibility of tree planting to reduce the noise level. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Wieland reported that the Salary Review Committee received several suggestions from the Suggestion Box in the Courthouse, and they were all directed to the Commission. For the employees' benefit, the Commissioners intend to respond to the suggestions through the Employee Newsletter prepared periodically by the Administrative Assistant. Scott Krueger stated that the task force committee which is doing the study on County government has asked how many copies of the report the Commission would like to order. The cost of 300 books is $1,314.00 and the cost of 200 books is $1.044.00. Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to order 200 books of the Cass County government study of the same quality as The Fargo Report. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Committee reports were given. On motion by Mr. Wieland and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting was adjourned.
