REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />APRIL 30, 1985 <br />Chairman Ray Larson called the meeting to order and upon roll <br />call vote, all members were present. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of <br />the previous meeting be approved as corrected. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Jeff Volk from the Moore Engineering Company was present <br />regarding the wastewater stabilization pond and sanitary sewer <br />improvements for the cities of Reiles Acres and Harwood. Mrs. Stanton <br />moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign <br />a letter to the Mayor of Harwood stating that the Commission has <br />reviewed the plans and find that it is not inconsistent with any <br />development plans for the area where the facility will be located, <br />this being subject to approval of the Cass County Planning Commission. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Stanton <br />suggested that Mr. Volk contact the Chairman of the County Planning <br />to present the plans at their next meeting. <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman <br />be authorized to sign utility permits for the force main of the <br />wastewater stabilization pond for Reiles Acres and Harwood at three <br />locations: north of Reiles Acres on County Road 20, across County <br />Road 81, and in the City of Harwood across County Road 22. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Chairman <br />and the Auditor be authorized to sign the Quit Claim Deed from Cass <br />County to Earle J. Lean for Drain #27 as presented by the Southeast <br />Cass Water Resource District. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Upon the recommendation of the County Road Superintendent, Mr. <br />Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve the following utility <br />permits: Wischer Aviation of Grandin to cross County Road 11 in the <br />northeast corner of Section 5, Kinyon Township; Cass County Electric, <br />Inc. to cross County Road 15 at five locations in Warren Township; <br />Cass County Electric, Inc. to cross County Road 4 in the southeast <br />quarter of Section 5, Berlin Township; Northwestern Bell Telephone <br />to cross County Road 81 to bury a new cable from Fargo to Grandin. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Correspondence was received from the State Water Commission <br />asking if there will be any changes for the next two years in the <br />cost of the office space rental for a State engineer at the County <br />Road Department building and for secretarial services. The <br />Commission asked the Road Superintendent to discuss a possible change <br />in location within the building with the State engineer, and to report <br />back next week. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to pay for moving <br />
