North Dakota County Commissioners Association. He stated if counties <br />are going to take a stand on Revenue Sharing, they should be united <br />in their stand. Mrs. Stanton asked who is going to address the <br />problems of the Federal deficit if not local officials. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to send the letter <br />to the North Dakota Congressional delegation and to the President <br />of the United States endorsing the proposed cut in Federal Revenue <br />Sharing. The motion carried on roll call vote with Mrs. Stanton, <br />Mr. Larson and Mr. Wieland voting "Aye"; Mr. Sondrall and Mr. Eckert <br />opposing. <br />Scott Krueger asked for some direction for Architect Richard <br />Moorhead to proceed on the building plans. The Commissioners were <br />in agreement on the concept of providing a suite of offices for the <br />Auditor, Treasurer, and Register of Deeds which calls for a central <br />counter /reception area for customers. This change would necessitate <br />providing for a new Commission Room that should be available for other <br />purposes, such as a Social Services group intake room. <br />Bids were received at 10:00 A.M. for annual Road Department <br />supplies.
