RESOLUTION #2002-12 <br />MARRIAGE LICENSE FEES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the North Dakota <br />Marriage License Fee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, county government in North <br />issuance of Marriage Licenses; and <br /> <br />Century Code Chapter 14-03 sets the <br /> <br /> Dakota is responsible for the <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the cost of the issuance of Marriage Licenses, including the cost <br />of computer equipment, programming, supplies, and salades are ever rising; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the basic fee for Marriage Licenses has not been changed since <br />(at least 1971 )__ and remains at six dollars, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cass County Commission <br />supports raising the basic marriage license fee from the current six dollars to <br /> (suggest twenty one dollars) dollars, such fee to be retained by and paid <br />into the general fund of the Cass County. <br /> <br />APPROVED; <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Alon Wieland, Chairman <br />Cass County Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />Michael Montplaisir -Auditor <br />Cass County, North Dakota <br /> <br />M:\MINUTES\Cornm2002\#2002-12RES.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
