'::~:~::='-~co~.. u. ~_~~~._~ 'ow -. --_~cc- ~Ol <br /> <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The County's Health Insurance Revi ew Commi ttee met thi s morni ng to consi der reimbursement to a <br />County employee who thought she was covered under the County's health insurance program but was denied <br />coverage by Bl ue Cross-Bl ue Shi e 1 d because she recei ved medi ca 1 servi ces for a pre-exi sti ng condi ti on. <br />It was recommended by Bl ue Cross-Bl ue Shi el d that the County develop better procedures for informing <br />employees of their insurance coverage. Upon the recommendation of the committee. Mr. Larson moved and <br />Mr. Wieland seconded that the County Auditor be authorized to reimburse the County employee in the amount <br />of $460.00 for the customary charges on this particular claim. this to be paid from the health insurance <br />line item in the budget. On roll call vote. the motion carried with four members voting "Aye" and <br />Mr. Eckert opposing. <br /> <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that Tom Jensen. Social Services Director. be authorized <br />to change the status of two hourly part-time Homemaker positions to two full-time Homemaker positions. <br />On roll call vote. the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Terms on various boards and committees will be expiring December 31st. The matter will be placed <br />on the agenda for December 18th for making the appointments. <br /> <br />The Commission will meet with the Department Heads Salary Committee to hear their proposal on the <br />date of December 13th at 5:00 P.M. in the Courthouse. <br /> <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Vouchers No. 48.353 through No. 49.114 and Revenue <br />Sharing Vouchers No. 431 through No. 434 be approved and ordered paid. On roll call vote. the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Alton Johnson. Mai ntenance Supervi sor. reported on a probl em with condensati on in the passageway <br />between the Courthouse and Jail making the floor sl i ppery. The Commi ssi on wi 11 look at the probl em and <br />discuss it further. <br /> <br />The Commission. agreed to allow Alton Johnson to hire a former maintenance employee. Joseph Rosatti. <br />to temporarily assist with janitorial work around the Courthouse and Annex until a new firm is hired. <br /> <br />On motion by Mr. Eckert and seconded by Mr. Larson. the meeting was adjourned. <br />
