<br />GJ21 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF CASS COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA <br /> <br />Courthouse art- <br />work on dome <br />area--photos <br />presented by <br />Conrad Rose of <br />WDAY-TV <br /> <br />Mr. Conrad Rose from WDAY-TV presented photographs which the Commission requested <br />him to take of murals painted on the inside of the dome area of the Courthouse. Mr Wieland <br />Imoved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to authorize Mr. Rose to enlarge one of the photographs <br />Iwith the Commission to select an appropriate size and then have all of the photographs <br />,enlarged, framed and hung in an appropriate place in the Courthouse with a brief history <br />and a credit to Mr. Rose for his photography. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Committee reports were given. <br /> <br />Resolution on Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that an appropriate resolution be adopted <br />Hospice home cre. supporting the Hospice home care program. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously <br />I <br /> <br />i Mr. Wieland reported that the four Water Resource Boards in the County met recently <br />land have agreed to advertise for the purpose of hiring one person to handle all of their <br />Iclerical and financial records. He proposed that the County provide office space in the <br />I Courthouse with the Water Resource Districts providing their own business machines. <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />Water Resource <br />Dist.--Co. to <br />provide office <br />space in Cthse. <br />next to the <br />Referee and the <br />former lunch <br />counter of 1st <br />floor <br /> <br />Office space <br />to be prepared <br />for Co. Supt. <br />of Schools to <br />move to the <br />Courthouse <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the County provide the office space <br />next to the Referee and the former lunch counter on the first floor of the Courthouse to the <br />person hired by the Water Resource Districts in Cass County, this office space to be cleaned <br />up with the possibility of opening up the stairway near the front door of the Courthouse <br />I that was closed off when the first floor lunch counter was operating. On roll call vote, <br />: the motion carried unanimously. <br />i <br /> <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the following work be done in order <br />to prepare for moving the County Superintendent of Schools from the Annex to the office <br />space on the second floor of the Courthouse next to the Clerk of Court's Child Support <br />Office: remove cabinet and sink, clean the flooring to see how serviceable it is, paint the <br />Iwalls, build temporary storage area inside the unfinished space in the new addition, and to <br />I remove the sink from the Child Support Office which is not in working condition. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. One area of concern about this office space for <br />the Superintendent of Schools wa's air ventilation, and this matter will be addressed next <br />spring.
