<br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF CASS COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA <br /> <br />----- M'~iG~!i!.!~ilii,-co.. ,'ARcio: Ii':D. ~l~'- - <br /> <br />60a7 <br /> <br />---- =------- ------------~------I==== <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice published according to law, the Commission proceeded to hear I <br />[objections to the special assessment list and no appeals having been filed with the ! <br />: County Auditor, it is hereby I <br /> <br />RESOLVED, that the Assessment List for Chrisan, Chrisan Glenn and Forest River <br />: Subdivisions Special Improvement District No. 1 is hereby confirmed and approved. <br /> <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 28th day of June, 1983. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded to appoint Douglas Seiler to the <br />City of Fargo Planning and Zoning Commission from their extra-territorial jurisdiction <br />for a five year term to expire July 1, 1988. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to reappoint Lewis Barker to the <br />City of Gardner Planning and Zoning Commission from their extra-territorial jurisdiction <br />for a five year term to expire July 1, 1988. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to reappoint Ervin Aarestad to the <br />City of Harwood Planning and Zoning Commission from their. extra-territorial jurisdiction <br />for a five year term to expire July 1, 1988. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to reappoint Emerson Harris to the <br />City of North River Planning and Zoning Commission from their extra-territorial <br />jurisdiction for a five year term to expire July 1, 1988. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to reappoint Duane Thorsteinson to the <br />City of Reile's Acres Planning and Zoning Commission from their extra-territorial <br />jurisdiction for a five year term to expire July 1, 1988. On rollcall vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded to reappoint Lawrence Baasch to the <br />Tower City Planning and Zoning Commission from their extra-territorial jurisdiction <br />for a five year term to expire July 1, 1988. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The County Auditor stated that he was informed by Mr. Homer Berglund that he does not <br />wish to be reappointed to the City of Briarwood Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Mr. Wieland suggested that a letter be written to the Mayor of Briarwood informing him <br />that a vacancy exists. <br /> <br />A letter will also be written to the City of Riverside regarding the term of <br />Gregory Sprecher expiring July 1st. The County Auditor was unable to contact <br />Mr. Sprecher to see if he wishes to be reappointed. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the 911 emergency telephone number concept. M:t:'. Eckert <br />reported that the County's involvement previously seemed to have delayed the project <br />for the City of Fargo, and he feels that the rural area. is still not 100% in favor <br />of this program. Mr. Wieland stated that he would like more information regarding <br />estimated costs. Mrs. Stanton suggested that the County not delay the project for Fargo <br />at this time by trying to get the rural areas involved again, but that the rural areas <br />should contact the County Commission if they are interested. <br /> <br />Committee reports were given. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Duane Hoehn, County Auditor, <br />be again named as Cass County's authorized representative to take and account for <br />any surplus property for County Departments.
