PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CASS COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA oi'!!.GHf-~~IHTi""O co:'.-~AA'ci''-:'''~-~~I'' .- REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS JANUARY 4, 1983 The official oath of office was administered to new Commissioners Oscar Sondrall and Alon Wieland by District Court Judge Norman Backes. The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Don Eckert and upon roll call, all me'mbers were present. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. An Invocation was given by Mr. Eckert. Mr~. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Commissioner Don Eckert be appointed Chairman for the year 1983. The motion carried on roll call vote with four members voting "Aye" and Mr. Eckert voting "Pass". Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Commissioner Jeannette Stanton be appointed Vice Chairman for the year 1983. The motion carried on roll call vote- with four members voting "Aye" and Mrs. Stanton voting "Pass". Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to reappoint Frank Richard as the County Surveyor for the year 1983. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Regarding annual appointments to the County Park Board, Mr. Sondrall suggested delaying for one week and that Chairman Eckert contact Wayne Kyser and Keith Monilaws to see if they wish to serve again. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to appoint Commissioner Oscar Sondrall to the County Social Services Board to replace former Commission member Patricia Wold , for an unexpired term ending July 31, 1983. On roll call vote, the motion carried ; unanimously. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Wieland ~econded to appoint Commissioner Ray Larson to represent Cass County on the governing board of the Regional Law Enforcement Training Center. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the following Pledges of Assets: On roll call vote, .the motion carried unanimously.
