On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Aud. to pay bill I Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the County Auditor be authorized <br />to Architects Ito pay $11,626.72 to the architects, Clark, Holman and Moorhead, as final payment for <br />on Cthse. Addn. icompletion of Phase II, Courthouse Addition. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />!unanimously. <br /> <br />A~J. to pay bill: Mr. Larson moved and Mr. <br />to Architects forito pay the architects, Clark, <br />work on Jail Iwork done on the Jail outdoor <br />rec. area !unanimously. <br />, <br />; The Auditor reported that the Architect made a study of the Courthouse bell tower <br />larea and they received a proposal to clean up the attic and the bell tower and to <br />Iscreen in the area temporarily to prevent pigeons from getting back in. One of the <br />inext priorities on the Courthouse project will be to restore the bell tower area <br />ito a safe condition which has been estimated to cost $80-$100,000.00. <br /> <br />I Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Commission hire the Captain Clean <br />!power cleaning company of Sabin, Minnesota, to furnish all necessary equipment and <br />iinsurance at the rate of $36.00 per hour for a two-man crew to disinfect and deodorize <br />ithe Courthouse bell tower area. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />I <br />I <br />I Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Auditor be authorized <br />ito pay the bill from Harold Flint and Associates in the amount of $4,493.78 for their <br />i"Report to the People" which was a newspaper insert giving information to the residents <br />lof Cass County for a requested mill levy increase, which was defeated at a Special Election <br />Iheld on August 31, 1982. -On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />! The Commission received copies of the precinct results from the August'3lst <br />!Special Election, and they discussed the financial situation of the County. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br /> <br />Disc. on hazardouk Representatives of the Minnesota Waste Management Board were scheduled to appear <br />waste disp. siteslbefore the County Commission this morning :egarding hazardous waste disposal, but they <br />in Minnesota were not able to appear due to transportat~on problems. They stated that they would be <br />Imeeting with the Fargo City Commissioners at 2:00 P.M. today if any of the County <br />'Icommissioners could attend that meeting at City Hall. Mrs. Stanton and Mr. Larson <br />stated that they would plan to attend. <br />I <br />I <br />Vouchers apprvd.! Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Vouchers No. 27,140 through <br />jNO. 27,906 and Revenue Sharing Vouchers No. 319 through No. 321 be approved and <br />ordered paid. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />I Committee reports were given. <br />! <br /> <br />i <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present. <br /> <br />I Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of the previous <br />I meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />NW Bell and : Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to grant utility permits <br />Cass Co. ElectriclNorthwestern Bell Telephone Company to bury cable on County Road 32 east <br />granted utility land to Cass County Electric Co-op to put underground cable across County <br />permits i SE\ of Section 17, Bell Township. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />i <br /> <br />I Steve Grindberg, County Road Superintendent, reported on money the County could <br />!receive from the State of North Dakota for road projects scheduled for lettings in <br />11982-1983 if the County has the funds to share in the cost of the projects. The Board <br />idelayed any decision on the 3 projects in Cass County which are on the letting schedule <br />I until the Commission reviews the budget situation. <br />I <br />I <br />City of West Fargo Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the City of West Fargo be <br />granted utility I granted a utility permit along County Road 10 and that they be granted easements along <br />permit along I Drain 45 right of way to construct and maintain water and sewer facilities. <br />Dr. 45 r/w Ion roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />Disc. on State <br />Aid for road <br />projects <br /> <br />On motion by Mr. Hendrickson and seconded by Mr. Larson, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 14, 1982 <br /> <br />to <br />of Amenia <br />Road 2 in the <br />unanimously. <br />
