Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be apPfoved as written. Motion carried. , Upon the request of the City of Horace, Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that they be authorized to place a detour on Cass County Road 17 through the City of Horace on September 11, 1982, for Community Days. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file the two Indemnity Bonds on Lost Instrument for Mr. Leo Palluck and for the Moore Engineering Company, and that the County Auditor be authorized to issue duplicate checks. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Cass County pay $42.00 as their share of the cost of .legal notices to inform and encourage local citizens to attehd public hearings held in July on the potential hazardous waste site at Downer, Minnesota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded to authorize the salary adjustments in the office of the States Attorney as outlined last week by Bob Hoy, States Attorney. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Upon the recommendation of Sheriff Don Rudnick, Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton ,seconded to accept the bid of Dakota Fence Company in the amount of $23,547.00 for the fence around the jail outdoor recreation area. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Hoehn - Auditor Cass County, North Dakota REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SEPTEMBER 7, 1982 Vice Chairman Eckert called the meeting to order and four members were present, Mrs. Wold being absent. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. Discussion continued on the personnel Policy Schedule for. Cass County, and several changes were made. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Larson seconded to adopt the policy schedule booklet effective through January, 1983, at which time it will be reviewed by the Commission. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. The Commission again reviewed County policies not pertaining to personnel matters. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Larson seconded to adopt the list of County policies with the changes that were made today. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Bids were opened at 10:00 A.M. from the following for replacing old windows in the Courthouse: Fargo Glass and Paint Thermal Products Company Nelson Window Company Rusco Window Company Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the above bids be referred to the Architect, Richard Moorhead, for evaluation and recommendation next week.
