Clutl Correspondence was received from the F-M Y's Mens Club requesting the Commission to pass a
resolution determining them to be a service club for the purpose of operating games of
chance during the 1982 fair at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. The information submitted
by them included copies of the by-laws, financial statement and intended uses of the
proceeds from gambling. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to pass a resolution
that the Board has reviewed the information submitted by the F-M Y's Mens Club and
determines them to be an eligible service club. On roll call vote, the motion carried
unanimously.

Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the County Auditor be authorized to
pay $7,495.20 to J. E. Krieg and Sons as final payment on the first phase of the Courthouse
Addition. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.

Correspondence was read from a resident living in the building to the north of the
Cass County Courthouse known as the Osgood Condominiums registering a complaint against
the noise made by the air conditioning unit which was installed on top of the County
garage. He suggested that the County install some type of sound barrier, and the Commission
agreed to have Architect Richard Moorhead investigate it.

Robert Hoy, States Attorney, reported that he did some checking on the care of the
three cemeteries located near Trollwood Park in north Fargo. He stated that he contacted
Mr. Bob Johnson, Superintendent of the Fargo Park District, and was told that the Fargo
Park District assumes the care and maintenance of the cemeteries and suggested that the
matter which Mr. Hendrickson brought up last week be referred to him.

On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting was adjourned.
