Commission Minutes-August 19, 2002 2492 ....' REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AUGUST 19, 2002 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Alan Wieland calied the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with ali members present as foliows: John Meyer, Donna Schneider, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and Alan Wieland. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chairman Alon Wieland ied the Pledge of Aliegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the minutes of the last regular meeting held August 5, 2002, and the minutes of the budget meetings held August 12, 13, 14 and 15,2002, be approved as written. Motion carried. r- 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions: 1) contract with MyLocalGov.com for web design and display of property tax information; 2) Highway Department purchase orders for purchase of HP Plotter and chain link fence construction; and 3) right-of-way easement from Ulteig Engineers, Inc. for state fiber line on the new jail property. Motion carried. 5. WEED CUTTING NOTICE, Authorize publication MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the publication of the annual notice for weed cutting. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Kindred Youth Baseball Association MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the raffle permit for Kindred Youth Baseball Association to be held October 10, 2002, at Kindred Public School in Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. APPOINTMENT TO BOARD OF HEALTH, Approved to appoint Jodv Burgum MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to appoint Jody Burgum as the rural representative to the Fargo Cass Board of Health. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. ,~
