Mr. Eckert furnished further information which was submitted to him by the Buffalo Community <br />clubs ,Club to comply with this section of the State gambling regulations. Mr. Eckert moved <br />. and Mr. Larson seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the information supplied <br />iby the Buffalo Community Club to complete the~r application for a gambling permit. <br />IOn roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Cynthia Rothe, States Attorney, was present and suggested that the Commission supply <br />lia questionnaire stating the information needed for organizations such as the Buffalo <br />, Community Club when applying for a State gambling permit. The questionnaire could be <br />I filled out by the club and returned to the County Board for their review and signature. <br />iMr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the County charge a fee of $25.00 <br />:to organizations applying for gambling permits where further information is required <br />iby the State, this to exclude the Site Authorization Permits. On roll call vote, <br />I the motion carried unanimously. <br />I <br />I <br />Arch. rev. officel Architect Richard Moorhead reviewed the plans for the office space in the <br />space I Courthouse and the new addition. <br /> <br />Disc. on selling I Discussion was held on having an appraisal made of the Cass County Annex and checking <br />Cass Co. Annex I into possibly selling the building in the next two to five years. On roll call vote, Mr. Eckert, Mr. Hendrickson and Mrs. Wold <br />ivoted for Robert Hoy; and Mr. Larson and Mrs. Stanton voted for Craig Richie. <br />iThe Chairman announced that Mr. Robert Hoy will be the new States Attorney, effective <br />iDecember 15, 1981. <br /> <br />i <br />i Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that'Vouchers No. 20262 through <br />!No. 20983 and Revenue Sharing Vouchers No.. 279 through No. 290 be approved and ordered <br />!paid. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />I <br />i Committee reports were given. <br />i <br /> <br />On motion by Mrs. Wold and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />DECEMBE~ 16, 1981 (WEDNESDAY) <br /> <br />Chairman Hendrickson called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were <br />present. <br /> <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />r <br />to! <br />I <br />! <br />! <br /> <br />This meeting is the first to be held in the new Commission Room in the Courthouse <br />Addition. The Chairman congratulated Architect Richard Moorhead on the job his firm did <br />on the Courthouse project. <br /> <br />Mr. Moorhead proposed three requests by the County Judge for suggested changes in the <br />County Court area on the second floor of the Courthouse Addition. He was quoted a pri~e <br />of $2,755.00 to make a toilet facility where there is a janitor's closet; $685.00 to revise <br />the seating area for the witness and the court reporter in the Courtroom; and $518.00 to <br />provide storage space for the court reporter in the Courtroom. All of the matters wili be <br />taken under advisement. <br /> <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded to purchase eight writing boards at a cost of <br />$375.00 from Twin City Construction Company for use by the ~ews media when covering court <br />trials, this being requested by Chet Gebert from The Forum.
