Anderson, Attorney for the Cass County Farm Bureau, Co.:stating their views on the regional airport authority's proposed mill levy. On roll call vote, the motion carried I unanimously. -- Site Auth. for i Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to grant site authorization to the Buffalo Community' Buffalo Community Club for the purpose of holding games of chance at the Bison Steakhouse Club granted at and Lounge for the period of November 15, 1981 to November 15, 1982. On roll call Bison Steakhse. vote, the motion carried unanimously. Site Auth. for St. Benedict Church granted for Nov. 13th Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to grant site authorization to the St. Benedict Church to hold games of chance on the date of November 13, 1981, at St. Benedict's Church in Wild Rice, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. I Bids recd. for Sheriff's cars ,and one 4-wheel 'drive vehicle Hearing on appraisal of tax-forfeited property One bid was received from Hall GMC for a four-wheel drive vehicle for the ! Cass County Sheriff's Department. Bids were received from the following for four patrol cars and for one vehicle to be used for investigations for the Sheriff's Department: Selland Motors & Co. Hustad & Sons, Inc. Tim Corwin Buick W. W. Wallwork, Inc. COrwin ChrYsler Plym~utht Inc. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to refer the above bids to the Sheriff's Department for evaluation and a report back to the Board next Wednesday. On roll call vote, the mtoion carried unanimously. A public hearing was held at 10:30 A.M. on the appraisal of tax-forfeited property. Several persons appeared to inquire whether parcels of land could be sold for less than the amount of taxes assessed against them, but the Board's policy is that the land shall not be sold for less than the amount of taxes owing. On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting was adjourned.
