<br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the County Auditor be authorized to
<br />pay the bill from J. E. Krieg and Sons in the amount of $407.00 and the bill from
<br />Architects Clark, Holman & Moorhead in the amount of $120.00 for exploratory excavation
<br />on the south side of the Courthouse. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that a gambling permit be issued to the
<br />Chaffee High School Senior Class for October 28, 1980, at the Chaffee High School.
<br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Interviews were held with the following engineering firms who submitted proposals
<br />for the County Road 22 bridge project:

<br />Moore Engineering
<br />Ulteig Engineers
<br />
<br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Board delay the decision
<br />,on selecting an engineering firm for the County Road 22 bridge, and refer the proposals
<br />to the Road Superintendent for further investigation. On roll call vote, the motion
<br />carried unanimously.

<br />On motion by Mrs. Wold and seconded by Mr. Satrom, the meeting was adjourned.

<br />Chairman Stanton called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members
<br />were present.
<br />
<br />Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting
<br />be approved as written. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Discussion was held on selecting an engineering firm for the County Road 22
<br />bridge project. The County Road Superintendent quoted percentages from previous
<br />projects involving engineering services. Mr. Marshall Moore was present and stated
<br />that it is difficult to submit a guaranteed lump sum figure for engineering services
<br />without a definite scope of work on the project. A decision will be made on October 8th.
<br />

<br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting
<br />be approved as written. Motion carried.

<br />Upon the request of Tom Jensen, County Social Services Director, Mrs. Wold moved
<br />and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Mr. Rainer Lobitz be authorized to attend a training
<br />session in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 13-17, 1980. On roll call vote, the motion
<br />carried unanimously.
