<br />Sheriff Don Rudnick appeared before the Board to request that an area in the Detention
<br />Center parking lot be designated,for the Sheriff's Department to park the County squad cars.
<br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrlckson seconded that the Sheriff's Department be authorized
<br />to designate an area in the Detention Center parking lot and that a sign be posted in that
<br />area. The motion carried on a roll call vote with all members present voting "Aye".
<br />
<br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the report on Dutch Elm Disease re-
<br />ceived from the Extension Office be received and filed. The motion carried on a roll call
<br />vote with all members present voting "Aye".
<br />
<br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Treasurer's Annual Settlement Re-
<br />port be received and filed. The motion carried on a roll call vote with all members present
<br />voting "Aye".

<br />An Invocation was given by the Chairman.
<br />
<br />Mr. Gordon Sletmoe, Disaster Emergency Services Director, reported to the Board the re-
<br />sults of the Emergency Snow Removal Meeting which was held in Bismarck on November 28th and
<br />'29th.
<br />
<br />Mr. Sletmoe also stated that the matter of receiving delayed payments of Flood Disaster
<br />Funds was discussed and it was suggested that each County write a letter to the North Dakota
<br />Congressmen in Washington regarding this matter. Upo~ discussion, Mr. Hendrickson moved and
<br />Mrs. Wold seconded that the Auditor be authorized to write such a letter in behalf of the
<br />Board. The motion carried on a roll call vote with all members voting "Aye".
<br />
<br />At this time Mr. Sondrall reported on a. Local Road Workshop which was held on Monday,
<br />'December 3rd, in Lisbon by the State Highway Department.
<br />
<br />Upon the recommendation of Mr. Bernie Reynolds, County Planning Coordinator, Mrs. Wold
<br />moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that Mr. Lynn Goltz, of Leonard Township, be appointed to
<br />serve a five year term on the City of Leonard Planning and Zoning Commission. The motion
<br />carried on a roll call vote with all members voting "Aye".
<br />
<br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Board
