The motion carried on a roll call vote with all <br />i members voting "Aye". <br />i <br /> <br />Also upon the request of Mr. Ellingsberg, Mrs. Wold moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that <br />; the Chairman be authorized to sign the grant application to the North Dakota Law Enforcement <br />[Council for the investigator for the States Attorney to attend an Advanced Prosecutors School <br />! for one week at no cost to the County. Audit disc. <br />with St. Auditor <br />Office. <br /> <br />Mr. Ellingsberg also reported to the Board that the grant application which was submit- <br />ted to the North Dakota Law Enforcement Council for replacing the locks in the jail was <br />rejected at this time. <br /> <br />Upon the recommendation of Attorney Duane Brietling, representing the Cass County Drain <br />Board, Mrs. Wold moved and Mrs. Stanton; seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the <br />instrument correcting the drain right of way 37~ feet either side of the center line in the <br />W~ of Section 14, Reed Township. Mrs. Wold stated that she had <br />been notified by the Bar Association that a motion was made at their October 18th meeting to <br />set ~p a committee, upon the request of the County, ~o assist the Board in evaluating the <br />appllcants for County Judge. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the motion of <br />the B~r Association be accepted. The motion carried on a roll call vote with Mr. Satrom <br />opposlng. <br /> <br />Upon discussion, 8:00 A.M., Monday, October 29, 1979, was set for interviews for the <br />County Judge position. <br /> <br />The Board received copies of the State audit of Cass County's records and discussion was: <br />held with the Deputy State Auditor from Bismarck. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson secondJ <br />ed to receive and file the state audit. The motion carried on a roll call vote with all <br />members voting "Aye". <br /> <br />Auditor & Office, At this time Mrs. Wold moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Auditor and the Auditor'E <br />recognized by iOffice be recognized for doinga commendable job. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the <br />Subdivision jPlat of Minnkota Subdivision in the NE~ of Section 1, Stanley Township, which was reviewed <br />signed. iby the County Planning Commission on September 12, 1979. Mr. Flint also presented <br />draft of brochure copies of the quarter page ad which will be printed in the Casselton Reporter and the <br />& ad. I Enderlin Independent. <br /> <br />SE Mental Health I Mr. Lee Thielman from the Southeast Mental Health and Retardation Center, appeared be- <br />--to hold Emp. I fore the Board to discuss an Employee Assistance Program which will be held on October 30, <br />Asst. Program. 11979, from 8:45 A.M. to 4 P.M. at the Center. <br /> <br />Meeting recessed! Upon motion by Mrs. Wold and second by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was recessed until <br />until Oct. 29 atj8:00 o'clock A.M., Monday, October 29th, for the purpose of interviewing and attempting to <br />8:00 A.M. ,make a decision on the position of County Judge.
