Upon discuss~ <br />ion, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the deadline for receiving applica- <br />tions for County Judge be set at 9:00 o'clock A.M., Wednesday, October 24,1979. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Mr. Lieb be authorizedout of state <br />to attend a Study of Courts in the First District of Iowa on October 23 through October 26, 'travel. <br />1979, at no cost to the County. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Upon the recommendation of Steve Grindberg, County Road Superintendent, Mrs. Wold moved Cass County Elec.- <br />and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the utility permit with utility permit <br />Cass County Electric to bury cable under County ROad 31 in Section 12 of Reed Township. The ~igned. <br />motion carried on a roll call vote with all members voting "Aye". <br /> <br />Also upon the recommendation of Mr. Grindberg, Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson Houston Eng.-- <br />seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the contract with Houston Engineering, Inc. contract signed to <br />for an Hydralic Engineering Study of three flood projects, which will be 100% reimbursed by do Hydralic St~dy <br />Federal Flood Disaster.
