Skills Development Project Supports Local Businesses <br /> <br />A 1999 survey predicted up to 12,000 new jobs in the Fargo-Moorhead area by 2005. <br /> <br />The 2001 Valley Workforce Summit reinforced those predictions and raised concerns about the availabili' <br />of people to fill the openings. <br /> <br />Twenty-two community leaders formed a task force to address finding qualified candidates. <br /> <br />Cass County and the City of Fargo stepped forward to fund the Skills Development Project led by Janie <br />Hulett.
