On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />11. JAIL EXPANSION REVIEW, Architect to proceed with biddinQ process <br />Rick Hoganson and Rochelle Conzemius, architects with Foss Associates Architecture & <br />Interiors, were present to discuss future expansion of the Cass County jail. Mr. Hoganson <br />provided letters dated June 8 and June 20, 2005, with the most recent estimate of the base <br />bid for construction of a jail addition being $4,297,421.00. Changes or alternates in the <br />original cost for the Alternate 'G' Pod, as bid in 2000, were discussed, as well as higher <br />mechanical and electrical estimates. Additional cost increases are included for winter <br />construction, the price of steel and square footage for perimeter chases. <br />
