<br />,-. <br /> <br />,... <br /> <br />r- <br /> <br />Commission Minutes-July 22, 2002 2467 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JULY 22,2002 <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chainman Alan Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: John Meyer, Donna Schneider, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Chairman Wieland asked Robyn Sorum to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. LOST INSTRUMENT BONDS, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file <br />Indemnity Bonds on Lost Instrument for Debra Assmus, Ernestine <br />Davidson; Cendant and Kinyon Township; and authorize the county <br />treasurer and the county auditor to issue duplicate checks. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />EMERGENCY FUND, Emergency declared to use funds to repair water main break at <br />Highway Department <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to declare the repair of <br />the water main break at the County Highway Department an emergency <br />due to the inability of the Highway Department facility to operate without <br />immediate repairs, and to allow the expense of the repair in the amount <br />of $14,134.93 to be paid from the Emergency Fund. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />PERMITS FOR RAFFLE, Approved for SI. Maurice's Catholic Church; Nora Lutheran <br />Church; SI. Peter's WELCA <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the raffle <br />permit for SI. Maurice's Catholic Church to be held November 9, 2002, at <br />SI. Maurice's Catholic Church in Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the raffie permit <br />for Nora Lutheran Church to be held October 5, 2002, at Nora Lutheran Church <br />in Gardner, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
