Facsimile: (701) 298-3115 <br /> <br />Contract Number: <br /> <br />2807020603 <br /> <br />GRANT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Region V CSCC is awarding funds to achieve its mission; <br /> <br />\VIIEREAS, the Region V Children's Services Coordinating Committee (CSCC) has <br />determined the project referred to in the paragraph below entitled "Scope of Project" contributes to the <br />mission of the Region V CSCc. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cas, County Extension, 1010 2nd Avenue South (PO Box 2806), Fargo, NO <br />58108-2806, hereinafter referred to as the "GRANTEE", proposes to implement the proposed project. <br />To he eligible to receive the funds, please return a signed copy of this agreement within 60 da}'s <br />to: Region V CSCC, 3233 South University Drive, Fargu, NO 58104; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Region V CSCC, hereinafter referred to as the "GRANTOR", <br />enters into the following: <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />I. TERM OF GRANT <br /> <br />The term of the agreement shall be from July 1, 2002-June 30, 2003, However, this agreement <br />may be terminated with or without cause upon thirty (30) days written notice by either party. <br /> <br />H. SCOPE OF I'RO,lECT <br /> <br />The Grantee agrees to An educational program that provides parenting classes, workshops, a <br />parenting video and book resource library, and a monthly newsletter to the six counties in <br />Region V., as outlined in its proposal to the Region V esee, a copy of which is attached and <br />incorporated as a part of this agreement. The Grantee further agrees that all services ofTered <br />will contribute to the mission of the Region V csee. <br /> <br />III. COMPENSATION <br /> <br />The Grantee will be paid in quarterly reimbursements based on program/fiscal reports <br />submitted to the Region V csee office for review and approval. These reports will verify <br />expenditures and income from all sources applied to grant activities and will specify the amount <br />of Region V esee grant dollars being requested each quarter. <br /> <br />Advances of up to 25% of the total award may be made with the majority approval of the <br />finance Committee. If a grantee does receive a cash advance, the advance will be made no <br />ll1or~ than 60 days prior to the anticipated expenditure. A full accounting of documented <br />
