5. r-- r-- ,.,--, Commission Minutes--May 20, 2002 2444 ELECTION CANVASSING BOARD, Alternate members appointed MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to appoint Mike McLeod and John Meyer to the Cass County Canvas Board to serve at the June and November 2002 canvassing meetings in place of the auditor and commission chairman, respectively, who are disqualified from serving since they are candidates on the ballot. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. RESOLUTION #2002-8, MICA Bonds for Farao-Moorhead Family YMCA Proiect MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to adopt Resolution #2002-8 Approving the Issuance of Community Improvement Revenue Bonds (Fargo Moorhead Family YMCA Project) Series 2002A and Community Improvement Revenue Bonds (Fargo Moorhead Family YMCA Project) Series 2002B. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for Melissa M. Ereth MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to receive and file the Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Melissa M. Ereth, and authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue a duplicate check. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 8. REGIONAL CHILD SUPPORT, Budaet adiustment for purchase of laser printer MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to amend the Regional Child Support Unit budget by reducing the office equipment line item by $1,000.00, reducing full-time salaries by $876.00, and increasing the computer equipment line item by $1,876.00 to allow for replacing a laser jet printer at a total cost of $2,326.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 9. PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Approved for The Arc, Upper Valley, Inc. MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the application for a Site Authorization Permit to conduct games of chance under a license issued by the North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003, for The Arc, Upper Valley, Inc. of Grand Forks, North Dakota, at the Club 94 in Casselton. The Site Authorization Permit for Veteran's Incorporated at the Club 94 for this same time period is being withdrawn by the applicant and hereby rescinded by Cass County government. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
