Today, however, I received a packet of change order requests from Foss Associates dating back to <br />last September, 2001. One of the changes orders exceeds the $5,000 threshold established by the Board of <br />Commissioners. Yet the work has already been done, and I got the paperwork today!! I will ask the Board for <br />their input at the meeting on Monday. <br /> <br />The change order requests are as follows: <br /> <br />G=General Contractor (Meinecke-Johnson) M= Mechanical Contractor (Grant's Mechanical) <br />Contractor (Bergstrom Electric) <br /> <br />E= Electrical <br /> <br />G31- $5,694 <br />M31-No charge <br />E31-No charge <br />This change was requested by Heyer Engineering to address structural concerns on the second level above a <br />chase and shower area. This work has already been completed. Foss Associates initiated the paperwork for <br />this change order on September 24, 2001, it was signed by the general contractor on February 13, 2002 and <br />sent to me today. <br /> <br />G35- $1998 <br />M35- No charge <br />E35- No charge <br />This change was initiated by the transition team to add locks to a number of drawers and cabinets in the <br />casework at various locations around the jail. <br /> <br />G40- $978 <br />M40- No charge <br />E40- No charge <br />This change was initiated by the architect to make necessary connections to the bi-fold sallyport doors <br />approved by the Board in an earlier change order. It includes sawing and cutting the concrete floor for conduit <br />installation for sensors. <br /> <br />G42- No charge <br />M42- No charge <br />E42- No charge <br />This change was initiated by the architect to relocate a roof drain above and electrical room. <br /> <br />5/1/02 <br /> <br /> <br />
