MEMO <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />County Commissioners <br /> <br />Alice Swenson, Social Services <br /> <br />April 26, 2002 <br /> <br />Food Stamp Program Award <br /> <br /> During the 2002 Food Stamp Showcase held in Mandan on April 23 - 25, the <br />United States Department of Agriculture presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the <br />Cass County Food Stamp Office with the following inscription: "In recognition of your <br />leadership for developing, implementing and sustaining the Food Stamp Nutrition <br />Education Program in Cass County." <br /> <br /> The USDA also presented individual certificates of appreciation to Becki Lawler <br />and Stephanie Volk of the Cass County Extension Office "In recognition of sustained <br />and innovative nutrition education activities benefiting the health of Cass County <br />citizens." <br /> <br /> These awards were presented to Cass County Extension and Social Service <br />staff for the innovative programs for food stamp recipients on nutrition education. <br /> <br />J:~AUDITOR\SCH EPP\SOCSERVAWARD56.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
