ABATEMENT APPLICATION, ADDroved for Susan Mclntvre <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that Abatement No. <br />4213 submitted by Susan Mcintyre be approved to lower the <br />commercial structure assessment to $20,800 for the year 2001. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for Gwen Bera-Nistler <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to receive and file <br />an Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Gwen Berg-Nistler and <br />authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue a <br />duplicate check. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. PRAIRIE PUBLIC BROADCASTING PROJECT, ADD rove letter of SUDDort <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to provide a letter <br />of support to Prairie Public Broadcasting indicating compliance with <br />Cass County's Comprehensive Land Use Plan, which will be <br />submitted with their grant application for a special rural business <br />enterprise and television demonstration project. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, ADDroved for Kindred Lion's Club <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve a raffle <br />permit for the Kindred Lion's Club to be held April 5, 2002, at the <br />Kindred High School Commons in Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />13. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Authorize chairman to sian Durchase order for sweeDer <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the <br />chairman to sign a purChase order in the amount of $5,500 for the <br />Highway Department to purchase a sweeper from Brenco <br />Corporation. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />14. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Farao Cass County Economic DeveloDment CorDoration: Ottmar <br />and Ottmar Law Firm <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the <br />following contracts submitted by respective department head, subject <br />to state's attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Fargo Cass County Economic Development Corporation--renewal of contract for <br />services; <br />Ottmar and Ottmar Law Firm--mental health public defender services. <br />
