<br />Commission Minutes--March 18, 2002 2424 <br /> <br />Mr. Montplaisir said he will be attending an election conference in Bismarck this Wednesday and <br />Thursday. Also, he said the first 10 ballot scanners have arrived and will be delivered to precincts <br />for the upcoming elections. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland reported that Les Korgel, President of the North Dakota Association of Counties, and <br />Corene Vaughn, President of the North Dakota County Commissioners Association, will be <br />visiting in Cass County at approximately 10:30 AM on March 26, 2002, as part of a continuation <br />tour to visit counties throughout the state. Last years' presidents, which included Alon Wieland, <br />visited 23 counties, and an effort is being made to visit 18 counties this year. <br /> <br />Information was received on the upcoming National Association of Counties annual conference <br />in New Orleans on July 12-16, 2002, and the Western Interstate Region Conference in Billings <br />on May 22-25, 2002. <br /> <br />18. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />report from Terry Ludlum, Cass County Sanitarian with Fargo Cass Public Health, on the <br />completion of Cass County's Abandoned Automobile Project. <br /> <br />19.
