Commission Minutes--May 16, 2005 2898 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MAY 16, 2005 1. MEETING TO ORDER Vice Chairman Vern Bennett called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk and Robyn Sorum. Darrell Vanyo was absent. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Robyn Sorum led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve the order of the agenda, with the addition of a site authorization permit for the West Fargo Fire Department. Motion carried. 5. PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATIONS, Approved for Veterans, Inc.: The Are, Upper Valley: Red River Human Services: Dokken & Schroeder Post 223 MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to grant site authorization permits to conduct games of chance under license issued by North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006, as follows: Veterans, Inc. at the Bronco Bar, Chaffee; The Are, Upper Valley, Inc. at the Club 94, Casselton; Red River Human Services Foundation at the Wild Rice Bar & Grill, Wild Rice; and Dokken & Schroeder Post 223 at Erie. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. PLAT APPROVAL, C.C. Subdivision MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the Cass County Board of Commissioners grant final plat approval for C.C. Subdivision, Section 5, Township 138N, Range 50W in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. AUDITOR'S OFFICE, Receive monthly financial statement MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to receive a monthly financial statement from the auditor's office for the month ending on April 30, 2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
