4. COSTS: The County and the City shall share in the savings <br /> <br />provided by holding joint elections. The County shall pay all <br /> <br />costs associated with the Election, Resolution, and Canvassing <br /> <br />Boards. The City shall reimburse the County at a rate equal to 75% <br /> <br />of the Election Board costs for the City election held in 1992. <br /> <br />The reimbursement will be increased in future elections based upon <br /> <br />the percentage increase in the minimum wage. <br /> <br />5. DUP. ATION: This agreement shall take effect on January 1, <br /> <br />1994 and continue until December 31, 1994. Thereafter, this <br /> <br />agreement automatically renews <br />for an annual term commencing on <br />the first day of January and <br />ending on the 31 day of <br />December, unless any of the <br />parties notify the other parties <br />in writing of its intention to <br />withdraw from this agreement. <br /> <br />That written notice must be <br />provided on or before October <br />1st of the year of withdrawal. <br />A written notice of intent to <br />withdraw from this agreement <br />shall be effective on the 31 day <br /> <br />We neglected to send letters to <br />cities in late 1995 reminding <br />cities of the election <br />agreement. I had intended to do <br />that to see if there was any <br />dissatisfaction with the current <br />agreement. It may be a good <br />idea in mid-1997 to survey the <br />cities to see if they have any <br />dissatisfaction with the <br />agreement before the 1998 <br />election year. <br /> <br />of December of the year in which the notice is received. <br /> <br />6.
