(f) The County shall <br />be responsible for <br />naming the election <br />board, including <br />inspectors, for the <br />joint elections in <br />accordance with NDCC <br />Title 16.1. The City <br />shall provide the <br />County with names of <br /> <br />Again, while we are the <br />responsible party, we ask the <br />city and also townships to <br />nominate people for inspectors. <br />It goes back to making them <br />aware that this is also their <br />election. <br /> <br />prospective Election Inspectors at least 55 days prior to <br />the election. <br /> <br />(g) The County shall <br />provide and maintain <br />necessary poll books <br />required by law. The <br />County shall provide <br />the City with a <br />listing of the voters <br />in the city election <br />within 45 days <br />following a joint <br />election. <br /> <br />While I don't believe this is <br />required by law, it does give <br />the city some additional <br />assurance that we are not <br />letting non-city voters vote in <br />the city election. In our case <br />we send them a computer printout <br />from our election system after <br />our post election update. <br /> <br />(h) The canvassing board shall be the County Canvassing <br />Board in accordance with NDCC Title 16.1. The Resolution <br />Board shall be named by the County Auditor as provided in <br />NDCC Title 16.1. <br /> <br />(I) Within 3 days <br />after the result of an <br />election is declared <br />by the canvassing <br />board the County shall <br />certify to the City <br />the official results <br />of the election. The <br /> <br />When we certify the official <br />results to the city, we remind <br />them to send the Certificate of <br />Election to the new city <br />commissioners. <br /> <br />City shall be responsible for issuing a Certificate of <br />Election to each person elected for a city position. <br /> <br />(j) The County shall <br />administer absentee In our coorspondence with the <br />b a 1 1 o t i n g i n city, we remind them again on <br />accordance with NDCC the procedures for absentee <br />Title 16.1. 2kbsentee voting and supply them with <br />voter applications postcard applications. <br />shall be available <br />from both the County <br />and the City for all joint elections. All absentee <br />ballots shall be handled by the County. A city voter <br />requesting an absentee ballot for the primary election <br />will also be sent an absentee ballot for the city <br />election. <br /> <br /> <br />
