<br />Commission Minutes-May 2, 2005 2891 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, Darrell Vanyo, by virtue of the authority vested in me as <br />Chairman of the Board of Cass County Commissioners do hereby proclaim Mayas <br />FOSTER CARE MONTH in Cass County and urge all citizens to volunteer their talents and <br />energies on behalf of children in foster care, foster parents and the child welfare <br />professional staff working with them during this month and throughout the year. <br /> <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 2nd day of May, 2005. <br /> <br />6. BUDGET ADJUSTMENT, Cass Farao Emeraencv Manaaement arant funds <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve a budget <br />adjustment for Cass Fargo Emergency Management for Homeland <br />Security and Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention grant funds in the <br />amount of $3,406,978.80 to revenue account #101-3701-331.55-03 and to <br />expenditure account #101-3701-427.74-12. Mr. Bennett asked the auditor, <br />before the next meeting, to provide information on the anticipated fund <br />balance of this account. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />7. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Sprina load restrictions discontinued <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to discontinue spring load <br />restrictions for Cass County hard-surfaced highways on May 9, 2005, and <br />for Cass County gravel highways on May 16, 2005. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. CEMETERY REPLA T, Third Replat of Part of Sprinavale Cemetery <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to authorize the chairman <br />to sign the Third Replat of Part of Springvale Cemetery for additional <br />grave space in the county cemetery. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />9. BUDGET ADJUSTMENT, North Dakota Recorders Information Network <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to amend the 2005 North <br />Dakota Recorders Information Network (NDRIN) budget by increasing the <br />computer equipment line item in the amount of $70,000 to upgrade <br />equipment. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Red River Vallev Fair Association <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve a raffle permit <br />for the Red River Valley Fair Association to be held June 26, 2005, at the <br />Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
