Commission Minutes-May 2, 2005 2891 NOW, THEREFORE, I, Darrell Vanyo, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Chairman of the Board of Cass County Commissioners do hereby proclaim Mayas FOSTER CARE MONTH in Cass County and urge all citizens to volunteer their talents and energies on behalf of children in foster care, foster parents and the child welfare professional staff working with them during this month and throughout the year. BUDGET ADJUSTMENT, Cass Farao Emeraencv Manaaement arant funds MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve a budget adjustment for Cass Fargo Emergency Management for Homeland Security and Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention grant funds in the amount of $3,406,978.80 to revenue account #101-3701-331.55-03 and to expenditure account #101-3701-427.74-12. Mr. Bennett asked the auditor, before the next meeting, to provide information on the anticipated fund balance of this account. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Sprina load restrictions discontinued MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to discontinue spring load restrictions for Cass County hard-surfaced highways on May 9, 2005, and for Cass County gravel highways on May 16, 2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 8. CEMETERY REPLA T, Third Replat of Part of Sprinavale Cemetery MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to authorize the chairman to sign the Third Replat of Part of Springvale Cemetery for additional grave space in the county cemetery. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 9. BUDGET ADJUSTMENT, North Dakota Recorders Information Network MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to amend the 2005 North Dakota Recorders Information Network (NDRIN) budget by increasing the computer equipment line item in the amount of $70,000 to upgrade equipment. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 10. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Red River Vallev Fair Association MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve a raffle permit for the Red River Valley Fair Association to be held June 26, 2005, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
