<br />Commission Minutes--December 3, 2001 2390 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />/"' Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve jail change <br />order M-34 to add five eye wash stations, as requested by the <br />transition team, at a cost of $7,784. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12. BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS FOR 2001, ADD roved <br />Michael Montplaisir, County Auditor, submitted a letter dated November 23, 2001, with a <br />number of recommended budget adjustments for board action before the end of the fiscal year, <br />which is December 31st. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the budget <br />adjustments noted on the Schedule of Budget Adjustments for the <br />2001 budget year, according to a letter from the County Auditor dated <br />November 23,2001. She received an inquiry about the project recently from a local artist who is willing to <br />produce a model for consideration. No cost is involved at this time. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to create a county <br />committee consisting of Commissioners Donna Schneider and Scott <br />Wagner, Captain Glenn Ellingsberg and County Coordinator Bonnie <br />Johnson to work with the proposal submitted by Deane Colin Fay, in <br />an effort to create a conceptual design for the jail lobby for further <br />review. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VOUCHERS, ADDroved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve Voucher <br />No. 158,653 through No. 158,994. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONIDEPARTMENT HEAD RETREAT; LEGISLATIVE/COUNTY REDISTRICTING; <br />ANNEX REMODELING, Committee reDorts <br />Commissioners and staff made positive comments concerning the strategic planning retreat held <br />in Fargo on Saturday, December 1, 2001, and facilitated by Dick Gross, of the North Dakota <br />Consensus Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Montplaisir provided a letter to the County Commissioners dated today in regard to the <br />redistricting plan approved by the State Legislature last Friday, November 30th. He said the <br />county has 35 days from the effective date of the redistricting plan, which is December 7th, to <br />redraw the precinct boundaries. Also, the County Redistricting Board needs to schedule a <br />meeting to redraw county commission district boundaries. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said the Annex fourth floor remodeling project is progressing well and is scheduled <br />for completion by the end of this year. <br />
