On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 12. BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS FOR 2001, ADD roved Michael Montplaisir, County Auditor, submitted a letter dated November 23, 2001, with a number of recommended budget adjustments for board action before the end of the fiscal year, which is December 31st. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the budget adjustments noted on the Schedule of Budget Adjustments for the 2001 budget year, according to a letter from the County Auditor dated November 23,2001. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 13. - 14. 15. ,- JAIL LOBBY, ADDoint committee to review conceDtual desian Bonnie Johnson provided some background information on the conceptual design for the new jail lobby. She received an inquiry about the project recently from a local artist who is willing to produce a model for consideration. No cost is involved at this time. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to create a county committee consisting of Commissioners Donna Schneider and Scott Wagner, Captain Glenn Ellingsberg and County Coordinator Bonnie Johnson to work with the proposal submitted by Deane Colin Fay, in an effort to create a conceptual design for the jail lobby for further review. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. VOUCHERS, ADDroved MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve Voucher No. 158,653 through No. 158,994. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. COMMISSIONIDEPARTMENT HEAD RETREAT; LEGISLATIVE/COUNTY REDISTRICTING; ANNEX REMODELING, Committee reDorts Commissioners and staff made positive comments concerning the strategic planning retreat held in Fargo on Saturday, December 1, 2001, and facilitated by Dick Gross, of the North Dakota Consensus Council. Mr. Montplaisir provided a letter to the County Commissioners dated today in regard to the redistricting plan approved by the State Legislature last Friday, November 30th. He said the county has 35 days from the effective date of the redistricting plan, which is December 7th, to redraw the precinct boundaries. Also, the County Redistricting Board needs to schedule a meeting to redraw county commission district boundaries. Mrs. Johnson said the Annex fourth floor remodeling project is progressing well and is scheduled for completion by the end of this year.
