Commission Minutes--November 19, 2001 2382 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ -- REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NOVEMBER 19, 2001 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Alon Wieland, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John Meyer. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order aooroved MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. 4. -- BOND FOR LOST INSTRUMENT, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to receive and file the Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Donnette Torgerson and authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue a duplicate check. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 5. HOLIDAY CLEARING BUREAU, Emoloyee solicitation aooroved MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to allow the solicitation of clothing items from Cass County employees to be given to the Holiday Clearing Bureau for distribution to needy adults. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. - 6. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase orders for two oickuos MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the chairman to sign purchase orders for a 2002 Ford Ranger pickup in the amount of $15,732.00 and for a 2002 Chevrolet one ton extended cab pickup in the amount of $25,513.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. CONTRACT APPROVAL, East Central Judicial District MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the following contract submitted by respective department head, subject to state's attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: East Central Judicial District for computer hardware and software maintenance and support by the Cass County Information Services Department. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
