<br />.--- <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Commission Minutes--August 20, 2001 2340 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to add a 54' x 300' <br />tract, 29-137-50, City of Kindred, as omitted property for 2000 and <br />2001 in the amount of $54,000 total value, according to notice sent <br />from the county auditor to Kevin Liebenow, Kindred, North Dakota. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for Thomas Soucv <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file <br />the Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Thomas Soucy, and <br />authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue a <br />duplicate check. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />QUIT CLAIM DEED, Authorize chairman to sian deed and satisfaction of contract for deed <br />on DroDertv sold to Kellv Hanson <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the <br />chairman to sign a quit claim deed and satisfaction of contract for <br />deed on property sold to Kelly L. Hansen. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, Houston Enaineerina <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the <br />following contract submitted by respective department head, subject <br />to state's attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: <br />Houston Engineering for design services for a replacement bridge <br />between Sections 33-34, Berlin Township, at a cost of $27,994. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. RESOLUTION #2001-22, MIDA Bond hearina for American Lutheran Homes <br />A public hearing was advertised for this date and time relating to Congregate Housing Revenue <br />Bonds for American Lutheran Homes, Inc. (Bethany Homes) Kinder Apartments Project. <br />Attorney James Stewart, of Arntson & Stewart, P.C., was present, along with Craig Johnson of <br />Bethany Homes. Mr. Meyer opened the public hearing and invited comments. Hearing none, <br />the public hearing was closed. Birch Burdick, State's Attorney, made some editorial comments <br />on the resolution and attached exhibit, which were duly noted by Mr. Stewart. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to adopt Resolution <br />#2001-22 Authorizing the Issuance of Congregate Housing Revenue <br />Bonds (American Lutheran Homes, Inc. Kinder Apartments Project) <br />Series 2001, and Approving and Authorizing the Execution and <br />Delivery of the Lease Agreement and Other Documents.
