On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />BUDGET REQUEST, Preliminary budaet for 2002 <br />Mr. Montplaisir prepared some 2002 budget figures for consideration at today's meeting. <br />He recommended a budget adjustment for 2001 to include $5,000 for improvements at <br />Brewer Lake, and suggested reserving future funds for long-term capital improvements, <br />such as the restroom facility and future additional camp sites. The 2002 budget was <br />drafted with a levy of one mill for revenue, which is the same as last year. Salaries, <br />general maintenance and utility costs were estimated for 2002 preliminary budget. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to amend the <br />2001 budget to include $5,000 for Brewer Lake projects to be <br />completed this year. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to set aside <br />reserye funds in the amount of $30,000 from year-end fund <br />balances. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to adopt the <br />2002 county park preliminary budget at $72,500.
