-- -- -- Commission Minutes--July 23,2001 2312 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS JULY 23, 2001 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Alon Wieland, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John Meyer. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order aDDroved MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the agenda, with the following changes to the regular agenda: 1) omit public hearing/resolution on MIDA Bond financing for Bethany Homes and reschedule for August 20, 2001, in order to meet publication requirements; and 2) addition of Highway Department request to replace fuel tanks in conjunction with parking lot improvement. Motion carried. 4. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for The Title ComDanv MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to receive and file the Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for The Title Company and authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue a duplicate check. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 5. PERMITS FOR RAFFLE, ADDroved for St. Maurice's Catholic Church: Nora Women ofthe Evanaelical Lutheran Church MOT/ON, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve a raffle permit for St. Maurice's Catholic Church to be held November 17, 2001, at St. Maurice's Catholic Church in Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. MOT/ON, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve a raffle permittor Nora Women ofthe Evangelical Lutheran Church to be held October 6, 2001, at Nora Lutheran Church in Gardner, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
