<br />Commission Minutes--May 21, 2001 2284 <br /> <br />r-- <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />.-4. <br /> <br />_ 6. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />MAY 21,2001 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Alon Wieland, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John Meyer. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of <br />the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order <br />of the agenda with the following changes: 1) add contract with T.L. <br />Stroh Architects, Ltd to the consent agenda under contract approval; <br />and 2) move contract with Ulteig Engineers to the regular agenda for <br />discussion. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR FIREWORKS DISPLAY, Approved for Wild Rice Bar <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve a fireworks <br />display permit for the Wild Rice Bar & Grill, Inc. to be held June 30, <br />2001, at the Wild Rice Bar & Grill, Wild Rice, North Dakota. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, Asphalt Surface Technoloaies: Vallev Gravel: Rustad's: <br />Agareaate Industries: T.L. Stroh Architects. Ltd <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the <br />following contracts submitted by respective department head, subject <br />to state's attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp.--seal coat Project No. CH0105 on various county <br />highways; <br />Valley Gravel, Inc., Rustad's Gravel & Dirt Products; Aggregate Industries--2001 gravel <br />hauling for Cass County; <br />T. L. Stroh Architects Ltd--completion of 4th floor office space at the Cass County Annex. <br /> <br />DISASTER EMERGENCY SERVICES, Public hearina/adoption ofCass County Multi-Hazard <br />Mitiaation Plan <br />A public hearing was advertised for this date, time and place on the proposed adoption of a <br />Cass County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan, according to the Commission Chair, John Meyer. <br />Mr. Meyer opened the public hearing and three times called for comments from the audience <br />
