<br />Commission Minutes--March 5, 2001 2254 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />MEETING UPDATES; CEMETERY DRAINAGE, EAST CENTRAL COMMISSIONERS <br />MEETING; JAIL TRANSITION TEAM; FARGO COURT SERVICES; BUILDINGS AND <br />GROUNDS UPDATE, Committee reDorts <br />Commissioners and staff reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks, as <br />well as upcoming meetings. <br /> <br />,- <br /> <br />Michael Montplaisir, County Auditor, provided copies of a letter from Jerome D. Feder, <br />Chairman of Beth EI Memorial Park, requesting reimbursement from Cass County government <br />for drainage work between their cemetery and Springvale Cemetery in north Fargo. County <br />Engineer Keith Berndt said he drove by the location today and would suggest looking at it again <br />in the spring because of the snow cover at this time. ML Meyer said this would allow for an <br />opportunity to discuss the drainage with the Southeast Cass Water Resource Board. <br /> <br />Several Commissioners and the Auditor plan to attend the East Central Commissioners' <br />Association meeting at 10:00 AM on March 8 at the VFW Club in Valley City, North Dakota. <br /> <br />Bonnie Johnson said the jail transition team began holding regular meetings last week, and the <br />meetings will be every Tuesday at 11 :00 AM in the transition team temporary offices on the <br />second floor of the Courthouse. Commissioners will receive a copy of each meeting's minutes. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said the Fargo City Commission is considering the possible co-location of court <br />services at the county courthouse campus since the county is in the process of planning future <br />space needs when the current jail is vacated in the spring of 2002. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />The Board received updates on buildings and grounds activities from Mrs. Johnson. <br /> <br />11. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Joint Powers <br />Agreement for Electronic Land Records Management update from <br />High Plains Technology. Motion carried. <br /> <br />12.
