Commission Minutes--ApriI18, 2005 2885 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS APRIL 18, 2005 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Darrell Vanyo called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Vern Bennett led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOT/ON, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions: 1) contract with City of Mapleton for mosquito control; and 2) appointment to Weed Control Board to fill an unexpired term. Motion carried. 5. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Approved for Holiday Inn MOT/ON, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve a special event permit for the Holiday Inn at Bonanzaville, U.S.A. on April 22, 2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Sandhills Archers, Inc. MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve a raffle permit for Sand hills Archers, Inc. to be held April 22, 2005, at the Sandhills Archery Park in West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. AUDITOR'S OFFICE, Receive monthly financial statement MOT/ON, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to receive a monthly financial statement from the Auditor's Office for the month ended March 31, 2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 8. PLAT APPROVAL, Robins Nest Subdivision MOT/ON, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded that the Cass County Board of Commissioners grant final plat approval for Robins Nest Subdivision located in Section 6, Township 137N, Range 48W, Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
